How to use the OBS overlay for Twitch

Set up RondaGG’s transparent overlay in OBS Studio or Streamlabs to show your community’s live Bingo game without spoilers or plugins.

1. Before you begin

You need an open RondaGG room and host access. The overlay works as a browser source, so it needs no download or extra plugin. Your community joins the same room through the link or code you share in chat.

2. Create a room and open overlay settings

  1. Create a Free Room, Twitch Room, or Versus Battle in RondaGG.
  2. As host, find the “OBS Overlay” button in the room controls.
  3. Choose your preferred size, position, and layout.
  4. Copy the generated link. This is the URL for your streaming software.

Keep this link for people who manage your stream only.

3. Add RondaGG to OBS Studio

  1. In the scene you will stream, select + in the Sources panel.
  2. Choose Browser Source.
  3. Name it something clear, such as “RondaGG Bingo”.
  4. Paste the overlay link in the URL field.
  5. Use a width of 1920 and a height of 1080 for a 16:9 canvas.
  6. Confirm, then move the source only if you want to fine-tune it in your scene.

The overlay background is transparent, so it can sit over your camera, gameplay, or stream design.

4. Streamlabs Desktop setup

The process is the same: add a browser source to your scene, paste the overlay link, and set a 1920 × 1080 canvas. Keep the source above your game or camera so your audience can see the Bingo updates.

5. Choose size, position, and layout

In RondaGG, choose a compact, standard, or large widget; place it in any corner; and select a card or horizontal-bar layout. Test the composition before you go live so it does not cover alerts, your camera, or other important scene elements.

6. Share the game with your community

Copy the room invite link to Twitch chat, Discord, or your stream description. Twitch-room viewers join with their Twitch account; a Free Room lets them choose a nickname. Configure the!bingo command from the host controls so your bot can share the active-room link.

7. Avoid roulette spoilers

RondaGG synchronizes ball reveals with the roulette animation. Use the room-generated overlay link and avoid showing admin tabs or results before the animation has finished on your stream.

8. Quick troubleshooting

  • Nothing appears: make sure the room is still open, then paste the overlay link again.
  • The overlay is behind your game: move it higher in the OBS or Streamlabs Sources order.
  • It looks cropped: check for 1920 × 1080 dimensions and remove cropping filters.
  • The information does not update: refresh the browser source or check your connection before a new round.
